This is a full day excursions to a cultural forest. this excursions exposes you to the fauna and flora of the Gambia and the forest is situated along the bank of the mandina bolong, a tributary of the river Gambia, there is a boat, walk within the forest and cultural entertainment are included. and its a 30 minutes drive to makasutu forest along the kombo coastal road to brikama and then to makasutu
and a Canoe rides are among the trips organized from oyster creek, where visitor can have a breakfast and watch birds at the same time. You can also join the locals for some interactive tribal dancing-where you are the star.

This is a half day excursion to the capital city of Banjul and its surroundings and you will have the chance to visit the Gambia national museums, the arch 22 and the craft market and to the albert market where you can buy various aspects depicting Gambian arts and craft. we will also visit bakau, a major towns in the Gambia and we will visit a crocodile pool.the observation deck on arch 22nd offers a view of gallery-lined houses. Abuko Nature Reserve were Monkey, hyenas and crocodiles, like the one living in the sacred katchikally pond, are seldom seen in the wild, but storks, pelicans and a tremendous variety of bird life draw the most demanding ornithologists to the Gambia.
Lamin Lodge,The mangrove grows where the tide is felt along the Gambia and the estuary. The trees intertwine along the many bolongs in the Lamin. Lamin lodge is a popular tourist destination with excellent restaurants and canoes for rent

MY EXCURSIONS TO TUMANI TENDA AND TENDABA CAMP
Tumani Tenda is a Jola village where the 300 inhabitants living in a real traditional African way. Located 25 Kms east of Brikama, the seven extended families of Tumani tenda own cultivated land, rich forest that serves as medication and natural water reservoir.
tendaba which is 155km away from Banjul. Normally two stops are made before reaching this fabulous camp. The first stop is made after driving 87km at a paddy rice field where the local people can be seen (mostly) women gathering and planting on their rice plantations. During the dry season we visit a Fulani village-these people are like nomads and can be best described as being like the Massai tribe in East Africa. Another stop is made along the way to stretch our legs and get a bit of fresh air.
